Munich’s Oktoberfest may now be over, but the good news is that PKR‘s Oktoberfest is just about to start!
PKR are running a serious of guaranteed tournaments over the course of the next ten days, to give away $270,000. These tournaments will inlcude a number of different poker flavours (including Omaha) and will be run across various tournaments formats such as Pot Limit, Terminator tournaments and bounty games. There will even be a free roll giving away an impressive $5,000 that players will gain entry to just by finishing in the top 50 in any of the other Oktoberfest events.
And if that wasn’t enough, if you get far enough into the field, you may find yourself appearing on TV in front of 15 million people across Europe as PKR are broadcasting several events on their own TV channel.
Most events have their own satellites meaning that players can get involved for a fraction of the regular buy-in price.
Existing members of PKR will simply need to look out for these tournaments in the lobby. Players currently not with PKR will need to visit http://www.pkr.com and register their details there.
The event will start tonight at 19.00 GMT with a Guarnateed No Limit Hold’em event.
