PKR hits landmark

PKR cemented its reputation as one of the fastest growing online poker rooms when it confirmed that it had served 10,000 players simultaneously just 18 months after the poker site first went live.

Marketing Director Simon Prodger confirmed the figures in a press conference yesterday. ‘A year of high-profile marketing, together with the launch of a national television advertising campaign, has left PKR.com as the most talked about poker room in the world,’ he said.

Prodger also confirmed that PKR’s latest Television advertising campaign in the UK would expand to cover satellite channels such as E4, MTV, Dave and Setanta Sports. It is believed the campaign will continue to use the PKR theme Bring it on
